Breast cancer in women found to be an
important risk factor
Every year
millions of women around the world die of breast cancer.
It is the
most common type of cancer in women and now an important factor that increases
their risk has been revealed and it is the entry of dangerous chemicals into
the body through food.
In a
research published in the journal Frontiers in Toxicology, it was clarified
that 189 chemicals or carcinogens that potentially cause breast cancer are
mostly found in food contact materials (FCM), which are used in food packaging.
What is a
food contact material?
Food Contact
Materials (FCM) are substances and products that are used directly or
indirectly during food production processing, packaging, storage and
consumption.
Researchers
have identified 40 chemicals present in food packaging as dangerous and
potentially cancer-causing properties.
Apart from
this, in the research, it was discovered that people are adding 76
cancer-causing chemicals to their body with their food.
It was
reported in the research that there is a rapid increase in breast cancer in
women under 40 years of age, while women of this age are also suffering from
this disease and a large number of women die.
