Crown Prince's US visit garners record media coverage worldwide, with over four billion views

Information Minister Salman Al-Dosari has said that “Crown Prince Mohammed bin
Salman’s visit to the United States has received record media coverage around
the world.”
According to
Al-Ikhbariya, Salman Al-Dosari, while addressing a press conference in Riyadh
on Sunday, said that “the content shared regarding the Saudi Crown Prince’s
visit to the United States in less than 48 hours was more than 120,000, while
it was viewed more than four billion times.”
The Saudi
Minister of Information said that ‘these figures reflect the significant impact
of Saudi Arabia’s role at the international level.’
Regarding
the economy, he said that ‘a record increase in commercial activities was also
noted in the country. By the end of last October, 1.8 million commercial
registrations were registered, which is 18 percent more than the same period
last year.’
He said that
‘the localization rate of military spending in the country was increased to 25
percent during the year 2024. The target for localization of military spending
by 2030 is up to 50 percent, with the aim of national production of military
products.
He said that
‘the country held the Cultural Investment Conference 2025, in which agreements
exceeded five billion riyals, with the aim of developing the cultural sector
and promoting local industry.’
Salman
Al-Dosari said that ‘the World Tourism Forum ‘Tourism’ was successfully held in
Riyadh with the participation of 120 countries, in which $113 billion was
invested to protect the future of tourism globally, and the country’s position
in this sector has also been strengthened globally.
The Minister
of Information highlighted the growing role of the country in sports and said
that ‘Riyadh hosted the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, consisting of 57
countries, with the aim of increasing sports activities.
